Please help me. My husband bought me a muzzle loaded, black powder antique shotgun.It is marked Scott & co london. He paid very little for it.,It has riveted pins and the 12 ga. barrells are fluid steel. I can find nothing about this gun, but we both think it is worth much more than the $200 he paid.It is in very good condition. Thank you for your help. Lois

Hi Mick, I'm a retired minister who has had 3 strokes. Though I have a concealed carry permit, my comfort level with a handgun has diminished. I use a cane to walk with and was thinking how I wished there was a cane that would hold and fire the 410 shotgun shell at least 3.. So I started searching the net and found a guy shooting a cane that was a full automatic machine gun. His link led me to your site. I was impressed by the number of cane guns you've found. What a Web site! Not being able to afford your best items what a pleasure it is to enjoy them FREE and learn of things I never knew existed and all "Only" so much. Yes, the prices are reasonable too and the illustrations leave one in no doubt as to the condition of the "Toys" as I call them.Maybe some day ---Etc Etc. You never know. Best regards, Fred

Hi Mick, you'll not remember but we once met maybe 25/30 years ago at the SETelephone range at Sidcup. I had an extensive collection of pistols but they were handed in at the ban. I now live in N.Ireland where handguns were never banned and shoot at a fantastic range near Belfast (100m full-bore rifle, 50m, and indoor & outdoor full & small bore pistol & rifle). I'm trying to put together a copy of my old handgun collection but locating stock these days is so difficult. Good examples are being butchered by the deactivation firms and they refuse to supply shooting examples to folks like me who have FAC authority to possess & shoot hanguns. What a waste! I like your website and the close-up photos are great. I hope you get all your collection back from the cops but I suspect you'll have go to law again to force their hands. Best of luck and keep up the good work.

I am truly amazed at the people that do not see the beauty in each and every piece you have displayed. My favorites are the cane shotguns. I just sit and wonder of the history that goes along with each and every one. I would own every piece if it were possible. A BIG thanks to people like yourself that that still have a love for old firearms.

Great site, many of my favourite guns and especially the big double rifles, I no longer shoot and nothing live for over 45 years being a veggie and animal lover. Just like looking at the super stock Mick has and still think that firearms have a "work of art" side to them with all the very sad BUT wonderful technology and development history behind each one. Many of Mick's views on our society ring a lot of bells for many of us I am sure!
