Hi Mick, great site with many interesting guns. In South Africa our communist government is going the same route as the UK in trying to disarm honest citizens. The amount of collectible firearms already destroyed is to cry about. My own father in law wanted to hand over 7 Mausers dating from the Anglo Boer War and 2 Birmingham side by side shotguns. Luckily I persuaded him to auction it instead of handing it over for destruction. At least he made a few bob, the Police did not get their hands on it and the rifles and guns are in the hands of appreciative new owners. Best of luck in your struggle to get you possessions back and think of the firearm enthusiasts here in South Africa

Im ex RFD, and a semi retired air weapons designer, many went into production under licence for a number of years, by various companys, but production has now ceased mostly due to costs. I gave up my RFD in 2000, but I still run my small engineering co. designing and manufacturing fishing tackle. I like your stats. on firearm control, interesting, my buddys in the US are being got at now with their 2nd. Seems all the worlds public is being disarmed slowly. Love the old guns, keep up the good work. Roy

Hi Mick, Having last week reached the age of 80 i dont get the chance to shoot now as my wife has leg problems and needs me. Having last week reached the age of 80 i dont get the chance to shoot now as my wife has leg problems and needs me. I still pop of a few in the back garden with an air rifle and still retain my intrest in guns.Just to let you know i always enjoy your pages , you seem to have a lot of people who are friends as well as customers and your pages are well laid out and informative. I still write letters for gunlaw changes at every chance . It is such a shame that others can not enjoy as i did long ago all the pleasures that went with shooting because of these regulations.Carry on with the good work and best wishes to you and all gunners out there.
