We spent years at the same shooting club Mick as you know, and I miss not only the shooting but the camaradery and the freinds we made and we have all suffered the loss of our fondest sport because of one idiot at Dunblane and lets not forget in this case the Police were at fault there, they had two chances to revoke this guys licence months before the incident but chose not to for some reason, we will never know why! Having once lived in such a state..ie N.J....I really appreciate the total freedom we have in Pennsylvania. Keep up the good fight. Any government that uses "crime control" as an excuse to ban firearms from law abiding citizens is a tyranical government and should not be allowed to exist. And any man that sacrifices liberty for security deserves neither.

The "Anti's" here would like to institute what you have been experiencing over there, but, thank Goodness, we DO have the 2nd Amendment, which recently was confirmed by our Supreme Court to mean "individual citizens DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO OWN A FIREARM and the Government MUST safeguard that RIGHT". I love England and really enjoy visiting your fair country, but I'm always glad to get back to the USA (and my legally-owned guns). As I write this, I consider that yesterday I renewed my Concealed Pistol Permit for the next year. Here in Alabama, it involved a visit to the local Sherrif's Office, a Criminal Background check (10 seconds on a computer database) and $10.00 for the next 12 months. It is not just asian men that get fitted up for crimes they have not done. Sometimes God smiles on these people and they get a new trial and get released from prison. Barry George never shot Jill Dando, that is now proven. So even if you are white, you can be fitted up for a crime you have not done by the lying metropolitan pigs, just to get the press and media of their hairy smelly backs. I too know what it's like to be acused of something I didn't do, but in my case, I was found guilty and bound over for 12 months, had my shotgun cert renewal refused, reason given "I would be a danger to the public" I've never been in trouble with the police before and the thing I was charged with, was in no way firearms, or violence related, but there's Welsh justice for you. So Mick I greatly sympathise with you regarding the unjust actions of police officers who should have known better. They still have my renewal fee almost a year after my case. I know it's nothing like what you have been deprived of, but it still hurts. Best of luck in getting everything returned to you. All the best Baz
